Purgatory Hall is the area in which the angels Simeon and Luke, and the wizard Solomon reside during their time in the Devildom. It was mentioned many times, but was only seen in-game for the first time in Lesson 13-10.
Purgatory Hall and Luke's room can be seen from the House of Lamentation.
In Nightbringer Lesson 39-1, it is revealed that Purgatory Hall was originally called Cocytus Hall. But, Cocytus Hall collapsed and had to be rebuilt. After it was rebuilt, it was renamed as Purgatory Hall. In Nightbringer Hard Lesson 38-8, it is revealed that Diavolo was the one who came up with the name "Purgatory Hall".
