Here are our guidelines for all members at Obey Me! wiki community. These guidelines are managed by community admins and moderators. Please leave a mindful comment with any questions or suggestions. Happy editing!
Community Guidelines
Developers of "Obey Me" consider the game as 12+, let's keep the wiki suitable for 12+.
Contributing General
Jump right in! Don't be afraid to get started. Anyone is free to edit a wiki, so start commenting, creating new forum threads, and editing articles pages.
Collaboration is key. Collaboration means you work together to build, design and make decisions. No one person owns or rules a community site. Rather, it is built, supported and owned by all participating community members.
Assume good faith. Obey Me! wiki is open for anyone to contribute to, users of all skill levels and opinions are welcome to participate. We assume that most people who work on a wiki are trying to improve it, not hurt it. If you see a problem, it's best to ignore such behavior and notice an admin or moderator.
Give credit where it's due. Please don't upload any fanwork to wiki pages, and ask for permission from the creator if you want to post them on the community page. Translated works such as the character songs must be credited as well. Uncredited work will be deleted without notice.
Ask for help. If you are confused or need help, just ask! There is a lot of help all around you in the Obey Me! community. You can ask an admin or moderator, check out Help Pages, Support Forums, Fandom admins and staff. No question is too small!
Never forget to have fun! Our community sites are places to have fun, meet new people, and learn more about your favorite topics. There is serious work to be done, but you should always remember to enjoy what you are doing!
Commenting General
Stay civil while expressing your opinions about the game. It's okay to criticise and have discussions or debates about characters and the plot line, but don't leave unnecessary hate comments or start arguments. Don't forget - it's a game, but the people playing it are real. Mean comments, aggressive behavior, frequent use of strong language may result in deletion of the comment without warning.
In general, be nice and treat people with respect. Being friendly goes a long way, no matter where you are. Please remember that everyone in the comment section is an actual person, not a computer screen - your words can affect them. If you wouldn't say it in person, don't say it here. If it breaks the Terms of Use, please don't say it at all.
Don't feed the trolls. Do not respond to those who try to ruin your work. When you respond, you are giving them what they want — attention. It's best to be calm and limit contact with vandals. The less attention they get, the more likely they are to move on. Don't play games with the vandals as this makes it more fun for them.
Don't be disruptive. When we say disruptive, that means your behavior is starting to affect other people and their ability to engage on the Obey Me! wiki. This includes spam, vandalism, and anything else that takes people's attention away from the matter at hand towards what you're doing.
Label Spoilers Appropriately. While discussing spoilers is allowed, for the sake of those wishing to avoid spoilers please be sure to label such content in accordance with the wiki's Spoiler Guidelines.
Promotion has its own place. If you want to promote a fanwork, website or anything related to Obey Me!, please either use the community page or your own profile as it's considered spam in the comment sections. For discord servers, contact an admin if you want your server to appear on the discord page.

Editing Guidelines
1. Category Naming
Category:{Character Name} is for the character's cards only! Please do not add to other types of article.
2. Naming Conventions
Please properly name all contents --- articles, images, videos, etc.: meaningful names (Pascal Case with spaces. See 6. Naming Cards for Card Naming Conventions).
3. Adding Stories
Stories (main, devilgram, event, etc.) must only be uploaded as summaries in less than 150 words, about 15 sentences. Any complete stories will be deleted without warnings. Complete dialogues violate NTT Solmare's Content Terms of Service and Use. Let's keep the devs happy.
4. Adding Spoilers
Spoiler content is only allowed in specific pages and locations. See the Spoiler Guidelines page for information on what is considered a spoiler, and where and how spoilers can be added.
5. Uploading Images
Images must be uploaded in .png format for cards. It is recommended to upload all images in .png format for optimized qualities.
6. Using Templates
Here are some of the available templates used to structure articles. Click on the link to see how to use each template. Please remember that templates must be filled accordingly for the page to work.
Commonly used templates:
Template:Devil's Tree Old and Template:Devil's Tree New (Manual)
Template:PopQuiz/Birthdays & Template:Birthday Event
Other templates can be added by using template search in the "Insert" option while creating a page and filled in Visual Editor.
7. Naming Cards
Card article templates are more complicated due to the game structure.
Naming for unique cards: Card Name (exclude "/ demon name." for example, The Mammon Way / Mammon -> The Mammon Way)
Naming for common cards (usually SR and below): Card Name (attribute)
For "card stat" template in card articles please follow Template:Card
For "devilgram" template in card articles please follow Template:Devilgram
(exemplars: The Mammon Way for unique cards; The Student Council (Pride) for common cards)
If a demon card has a broken link for its devil's flower unlocked image, replace it with its unlocked version or leave it as it is. This way we can easily see which images are needed at https://obey-me.fandom.com/wiki/Special:WantedFiles.
Discussion Guidelines
This is a copy of the Guidelines that can be found on the wiki's Discussion page.

3. The game is rated PG12 and we would like to keep the wiki safe for any age groups. Nsfw posts or comments will be deleted without warning.
