Unknown number texting MC
MC wakes up inside the student council room of RAD, surrounded by Diavolo, Mammon, Belphegor, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, Leviathan, and Lucifer, who are all in demon form. Diavolo tells MC he's happy they're okay and that they were starting to worry. Mammon, right off the bat, demands a reward from MC for "saving their life", while the others wonder how someone could have gotten lost and ended up inside RAD. Everyone also assumes that MC is a demon. While they interrogate MC, MC learns from Lucifer and Diavolo's conversation that RAD is apparently still under construction. While they are asking MC how they got here and if MC lives here, MC gets a text on their D.D.D from an unregistered number.
The person texting MC that they will take MC someplace that will bring them more joy than anywhere else. A world MC desires and a place where MC will be desired. MC can either say "First tell me how you know my name." or "Who are you?". If MC says "First tell me how you know my name.", the unknown person will say that MC recently told them their name, but that to MC that must have been quite a long time ago. Otherwise, if MC asks "Who are you?", the unknown person tells MC that they don't need to sound so worried because they can see everything and that nothing can remain hidden from them. Both choices eventually lead to this person saying that MC has received a second chance for a fated meeting. The unknown person asks MC if they understand what they mean and sends a photo (of the demon brothers). If MC answers "I think I do.", the unknown person will be glad that MC seems to already be acquainted with them. Otherwise, if MC answers "I have no clue what you're talking about.", the unknown person rephrases their statement saying that MC is fated to form a deep bond with the people in the photo. The person then says their name, but the name is redacted. They state that "'Time' for them is kind of like a dark, heavy mud. This mud sits in a big container as it silently and slowly swirls around like a vortex.". The person then wonders if MC will end up in their own past, or maybe the past, present, or future of some stranger. The last text from the person says "But never fear, for wherever you go, "they" will be there waiting for you." Finally, they wish MC safe travels on their journey.
Returning back to Diavolo and the demon brothers, Mammon asks MC who they are. MC can either say "You don't know me?" or "You seriously forgot who I am...?!". Either choice essentially leads to the brothers asking why they should know MC. Lucifer then tells Diavolo that this situation is his responsibility and asks how he's going to handle it. Diavolo asks MC if they are even from the Devildom, since he finds it shocking that there's a demon in the Devildom that he's never met before. MC can either ask if they all have amnesia or just say that something definitely isn't right here; either way, Diavolo will just assume that MC must be confused and will ask them to calm down. Afterwards, he will introduce himself as Diavolo, the next king of the Devildom, before he starts introducing the brothers. Just as he finishes the introductions, MC gets a text on their D.D.D. from Solomon, who asks MC where they are and to give him a call. During the call, he apologies to MC saying that he knows he told MC to call him, but "something came up". He explains that the spell he's currently using has an unpredictable casting time, so he's not sure how long it will take to activate. Before hanging up, he tells MC that he probably won't be able to get reception while jumping through space time.
After the call, Diavolo starts to wrap up introductions by telling MC about how there's another brother, but gets cut off by a furious Satan yelling in anger while searching for his brothers. Everyone is exasperated about how Satan is having another one of his "moods". Now, he's on a rampage right after having broken out of the chains his brothers placed him in due to his last frenzy, so he's all the more outraged at his brothers. Diavolo wraps it up by introducing Satan as the avatar of wrath. Satan storms into the room fuming and starts destroying everything around him trying to find the brothers. Before anyone has to fight for their life, they all rush to hide before Satan can find them. MC can then ask them when the Celestial War happened, or if they're in the past. If MC asks about the war, Lucifer seems confused and says that it only just ended. But, if MC asks if this is the past, Mammon just asks if they hit their head recently. Diavolo cuts in to ask MC's name right before Satan finds everyone all huddled up and whispering to each other. MC tries using their pact to order Satan to "STAY", but it doesn't work. The others wonder what that was supposed to do, and if it was a failed attempt at magic, while Satan closes in on them. Suddenly, Ruri-chan voice lines play from MC's D.D.D, virtually stunning everybody.
Levi comes out of his shell to ask MC about Ruri Hana and tells MC to play Ruri Tunes every day noting that he will check in on their progress. However, Lucifer quickly shuts down Levi's rant because they're still under fire from Satan. Suddenly, MC feels a warm light building inside them and shouts out "STAY". They are successfully able to stop Satan from attacking anyone, but they also unintentionally throw the rest of the brothers onto the floor in the process (much to everyone's shock). Diavolo thinks that meeting MC must be fate. He explains that the brothers were originally high-ranking angels that were exiled from the Celestial Realm after the Great Celestial War. The brothers are new to the Devildom and their arrival has stirred up all kinds of rumors, so he figures that MC should be the brothers' attendant until they get used to life in the Devildom. None of the brothers like the idea of having a babysitter at all, especially one that was able to subdue them so quickly. Lucifer tries to talk Diavolo out of it, but ultimately loses the argument since Diavolo is the future king of the Devildom. MC also gets stuck agreeing to the proposition for the same reason as Lucifer.
After that whole situation, Beel is now carrying the unconscious Satan. Beel remarks that he usually has no problem with carrying the weight of one demon, but now he's having trouble since he's feeling hungry. MC can either offer to help Beel, cheer Beel on, or ask if they think Satan will wake up anytime soon. If MC offers to help, Beel will thank them, but refuse their offer by saying that he's fine. If MC cheers him on, Diavolo will remark on how it seems like MC is already adjusting to their new role as the brothers' attendant. If MC asks if they think Satan will wake up anytime soon, Levi will say that he doesn't think Satan will wake up soon since he was thrown to the floor with a lot of force. Mammon reminds MC that they were the one who caused Satan to get thrown to the floor. Asmo admires how cute Satan looks when he's asleep and notes that he's been passed out for a long time. Lucifer remarks that he'd rather have Satan stay like this for the next 100 years rather than him being awake and rampaging through the town and destroying everything.
Diavolo then asks MC if they can exchange De-Comm account information, so that they can contact each other. Asmo proceeds to ask MC if they use Devilgram and Fab Snap and suggests that they add each other as friends. MC can pretend that they know what Asmo is talking about or outright admit that they have no idea what Asmo is talking about. If MC pretends to know what Asmo is talking about, Belphie calls them out saying that their face seems to say otherwise. Asmo exclaims that MC should know about the top 3 big social networks in the Devildom. Levi then asks if DevilTube is one of those big 3 social networks. Meanwhile, Beel tells MC not to worry about not knowing what they are since Asmo also insisted on making a bunch of accounts for him and he still has no idea what they are. If MC admits they have no idea what Asmo is talking about, Asmo will be shocked and exclaim that they are the 2 of the 3 biggest social networks. When Mammon asks what the third biggest social network is, Lucifer replies saying who cares. Asmo will then asks how they can all be so ignorant about it.
Asmo declares to MC that it won't be long before he becomes a famous influencer in the Devildom. Mammon tells him that he's already super famous, but probably not in the way he thinks (possibly referring to how already everyone already knows about them since they've arrived in the Devildom). Belphie yawns and then asks when they're leaving. MC can suggest that they head back to the House of Lamentation or remark on Belphie's habit of falling asleep. If MC suggests going back to the House of Lamentation, Diavolo will be surprised that MC knows about it since they just finished building rebuilding the house down in the Devildom and the name of the house wasn't announced to the public yet. Otherwise, if MC remarks on Belphie's habit of falling asleep, Belphie will ask how MC knows about that when they've only just met.
Diavolo then tells the brothers to head to the House of Lamentation since that's the house he prepared for them. Mammon celebrates that they no longer have to be cooped up inside the Demon Lord's Castle. Asmo is also happy and says that he had know idea they were going to be confined on castle grounds as soon as they arrived in the Devildom. Diavolo apologizes to them and explains that their arrival put the Devildom in a state of disarray, so it took a while before things settled down. Lucifer says that they now have a place of their own and can come out of hiding. Levi remarks that he heard it used to be a place in the Human World and that it had a dark history. Belphie chimes in saying he heard it was cursed. Mammon remarks that humans always blame it on a curse when something bad happens. Beel says that he heard that a family with 7 children used to live there until the oldest child stabbed everyone in the house to death. Asmo becomes not as enthusiastic when he realizes that the curse is still fresh and that they'll probably see ghosts since it will be haunted. Mammon tells Asmo to stop being dumb and that demons shouldn't care about curses and ghosts. When MC asks Mammon if he's not scared, Mammon replies that they're demons and that people should be afraid of them and not vice versa. Beel then tells Lucifer that he's hungry while Levi tells Lucifer that Belphie is falling asleep. Lucifer sighs and says they're leaving while Diavolo laughs.
At the House of Lamentation, Asmo notes that it really looks like a haunted house. He also stops to try and take a picture of it to put on Devilgram. Lucifer tells to him to keep moving and to stop blocking the way. As MC is about to follow the brothers, Diavolo tells MC that they can't stay here and that this house is only for the brothers. MC can either insist on staying at the House of Lamentation or ask if they're supposed to sleep outside. Both choices lead to Diavolo asking MC if they have no where to go or if they ran away from home. However, he decides not to pry any further saying that he also used to run away from the castle a lot as a kid whenever he was scolded. He tells MC that this house is the only place where the brothers can relax and be a family, so he has arranged for separate accommodations for MC. Diavolo then tells MC about a D.D.D. app called Wanderers' Whereabouts that was developed by his sorcerer acquaintance. He explains that this app will be able to tell MC what the brothers are up to when MC is not around which will be useful for MC's job as their attendant. Diavolo says that he wants MC to use the app to check on how the brothers are doing. He insists that the brothers will "love" it when MC checks in on them using the app.
As Diavolo is about to tell MC about their accommodations, Solomon appears and calls out to MC. Solomon was worried as he didn't know where MC had disappeared to. Diavolo remarks that Solomon arrived so quickly. He then proceeds to ask if Solomon already knows MC. Solomon replies that he knows MC really well since MC is his apprentice. Diavolo is surprised. MC can then choose to just say that they are Solomon's apprentice or mention that they also have an even deeper type of relationship with Solomon. If MC just says they are Solomon's apprentice, Diavolo will just say he didn't expect it. Otherwise, if MC admits they have an intimate relationship with Solomon, Diavolo will be surprised that there's another demon other than Barbatos that Solomon is close to. Solomon reasons that he's human and that humans need companionship. Diavolo seems to accept this answer.
Diavolo then talks about how he knows how Solomon tends to do weird things, but he never thought that he would take a demon as an apprentice. Solomon tells Diavolo that MC is his top student that he's trying to keep that a secret, so other people don't feel that they're lacking. Diavolo suddenly realizes that MC was trying to use magic earlier when they yelled "STAY". Solomon then asks them if something happened. Diavolo tells him that he can ask MC about it later and that he needs to return to the castle now. Before leaving, he asks Solomon if him and MC can share accommodations since MC is his apprentice. Solomon asks if they can stay at his usual place and Diavolo agrees to it. He then bids them goodbye and thanks MC for accepting his request to be the brothers' attendant
After Diavolo leaves, Solomon gives MC a chance to ask some questions about their current situation. MC can either ask him what's wrong with everyone else, if they are in the past, or why Solomon is here. If MC asks Solomon about what's wrong with everyone, he will reply that there's nothing wrong with them and they are the ones who are out of place. If MC asks if they are in the past, Solomon will say that MC is correct and that they are as sharp as ever. Otherwise, if MC asks why Solomon is here, Solomon will say that he's here to help his adorable apprentice. Afterwards, Solomon encourages MC to tell him what happened starting from when everything became strange. MC proceeds to tell Solomon about the mysterious person who texted them and how they woke up and found themselves in the past. Solomon then suggests that they continue this conversation back at the place he's staying, so that they can relax and have some tea while they figure out what's happening and what their future plans should be. Solomon mentions that his accommodations is a place that Diavolo arranges for him to stay at whenever he visits the Devildom.
